Our History

Business & Consumer Resources, or BCR, traces its roots to a business leads group known as Sales Vantage 2, founded by the Skokie, Ill., Chamber of Commerce in the mid-1990s. The group subsequently expanded its reach, inviting members of the Niles, Ill., Chamber of Commerce and the Morton Grove, Ill., Chamber of Commerce to participate. These new affiliations led the group in 2005 to change its name to MultiVantage. In 2006, the group became independent from the Skokie  Chamber of Commerce and established a new affiliation with the Wilmette Chamber of Commerce.  In 2007, member businesses adopted the name Business & Consumer Resources, or BCR, to better reflect the nature and purpose of the group.
